GJEP supporter and Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom (WILPF) organizer Robin Lloyd attended WILPF’s Women’s Power to Stop War conference in Hague this past weekend, where she took part in this unique generation-spanning photo.
Lloyd is pictured with the bust of her grandmother, American pacifist, suffragist, and feminist Lola Maverick Lloyd, who attended the first Hague women’s conference 100 years ago in 1915. For more information on Lola Maverick Lloyd, see this piece by Robin Lloyd at WorldService.org.
