Stop the Lithium Mining Project at Thacker Pass, Nevada

In May 2023, Indigenous Land Defenders had erected a Tipi and formed Ox Sam Camp at PeeHee Mu’huh (Thacker Pass) Nevada – the site of a proposed lithium operation owned by Lithium Americas Corp.

The Tipi was erected on a proposed water line set to feed the lithium development at the rate of 500,000 gallons for every ton of lithium processed.

The location of the proposed lithium operation, PeeHee Mu’huh, is traditional, unceded land of the Paiute and Shoshone.
