In response to the Trump election and the rise of racist attacks, how will the movement for change respond? Will movements come together across their divides? Will they merge lanes to build a massive response against bigotry, or will movement business continue as usual? One telling indication is that a womens march has been called for the day after Trumps inauguration with the main message that womens rights are human rights. But what about the rights of people of color? Why not a march against bigotry and for humanity and the planet?
Our guests are Kristen Clarke, President and Executive Director of the National Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law; and Dr. Gerald Horne.
Plus, our we bring your our weekly Earth Minute with Anne Petermann, Executive Director of the Global Justice Ecology Project.
