National Radio Interviews with the STOP GE Trees Campaign

Press Release Featuring Global Justice Ecology Project Gets National Interviews on the Dangers of GE Trees

On Wednesday, July 11, 2012, Global Justice Ecology Project worked with the Institute for Public Accuracy to put out a press release highlighting the just-released “State of the Climate” report put out by the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association) which found that the first six months of 2012 were the hottest ever.  The release then linked that report’s findings to the plans by industry to develop genetically engineered trees, specifically GE non-native eucalyptus trees, for massive plantations across the US South–a move that would greatly increase the chance for massive wildfires.  That release can be found by clicking here.
