The interviews occurred during “The Resurgence: 2019 North American Forest & Climate Movement Convergence” inside the Shawnee National Forest located in Southern Illinois in October 2019. It was convened by the Indigenous Environmental Network, Global Justice Ecology Project and Shawnee Forest Defense!
