Anti-FTAA March in Miami
In Miami, FL, an un-permitted march heads toward the fenced off restricted area where the trade ministers of 34 nations were meeting to discuss the Free Trade Area of the Americas (2003).

“I am pleased to finally launch my new website today! This project has been a few years in the making, and contains decades of photos capturing pivotal moments and turning points throughout human history and throughout my time as a social documentary photographer. My photographs attempt to document the actual historical realities of social, economic and ecological struggles’.  I am glad to share my photos as I am a firm believer that the past determines the present, and that the stories from the past reflect the present and inform our futures to come.

I hope that you will enjoy my photos and please check out my new website and follow my social media accounts for photo essays, stories, and the latest news about my photography.” – Orin Langelle
