Translation (as originally published in German via GID Magazin):
The podcast for information and criticism on reproductive and genetic engineering. Introduction: What does genetic engineering do to our society? What does it have to do with the food on your plate and how does it play a role in having children? When and why is that a problem?
Shownotes:
There are various projects involving genetically modified trees in South and North America. They are met with protests from both Indigenous communities, whose lives are affected by plantations and non-transparent release attempts, and from environmental organizations that are concerned about the stability of the forests. GeN employee Judith Düesberg spoke about this with Anne Petermann, who coordinates the international campaign “Stop GE Trees”.
