On the 21st of October, EPN’s Forest, Climate and Biomass Working Group is coordinating an international day of action to expose the environmental and social impacts of big biomass globally. The day is a collaborative effort between member organizations from around the world, who will be highlighting the issues in their region. It will be a day of offline and online events, activities, and actions, including webinars, report publications, petition sign ons and more. Their aim is to shine a spotlight on the negative effects of big biomass all around the world, amplify voices in the Global South, and build pressure in the run up to COP26.
