Dear friends,

Please sign the petition below to stop a massive canal being built through Nicaragua.

Since 1997 GJEP and our predecessor organization ACERCA have done a lot of work in solidarity with the Indigenous Peoples of Nicaragua to protect their ancestral lands, including pristine and biodiverse rainforests.  Not long ago these were the largest rainforests north of the Amazon.

This canal, being built to expedite the export of goods from China to Europe and the Eastern U.S. is an abomination.  Please add your voice to the call to stop it.
