We are honored to be a part of this recently published book, Contesting Colonial Capitalism in the Americas, Africa and Asia edited by Dip Kappor. “This book is a critical excavation of capitalist development that is being driven by the Global North in the modern (neo)colonial era, with a related focus on the anticolonial and anticapitalist resistance by Indigenous Peoples, peasants, and migrant workers in Africa, Asia/Middle East, and the Americas/Caribbean.”
Global Justice Ecology Project founder Anne Petermann authored a chapter entitled “An Activist Archive of Photojournalism: The Global Justice Ecology Project and Indigenous, Ecological, and Anticapitalist Advocacy in the Americas.” The chapter features photography of GJEP founder and reknown photographer Orin Langelle. His work also graces the cover of the book.
