Living Carbon wants to create genetically engineered trees that don’t rot to sell as carbon offsets to huge polluters like Microsoft so they can do nothing to ACTUALLY reduce their emissions. What about the impact on soils, fungi, forests? They don’t know. GJEP and Biofuelwatch visited them at their Silicon Valley headquarters on Santana St in Hayward in April, where we interrupted their meeting.
