On Wednesday, June 30th Indigenous peoples and climate activists are coming together to rally at the White House to end the era of fossil fuels.
This day of action is a call for President Biden to protect people, instead of polluters, by ending fossil fuel projects and declaring a climate emergency. It is also a call to pass a climate justice infrastructure bill.
According to the Indigenous Environmental Network, “From Line 3 to the Arctic to Mountain Valley Pipeline and beyond, President Biden must prioritize climate, Indigenous rights, racial justice, housing justice, and transit justice in the infrastructure discussions.
